Director: Serhat Caradee - AFC Indivision Production Funding Winner

In the vein of urban classic Mean Streets, this film is real and raw, coming directly from an insider's perspective. This film is fuelled by hot cars, music, racial tension and sex drive. However Cedar Boys is also a poignant look at young men of Middle Eastern descent under pressure, seeking acceptance by a society they believe excludes them and recognising the relationships that matter most. Cedar boys has recently been featured in a newspaper article which can be viewed by clicking here.

  • RUNNER

    Director: Vincent Giarrusso

RUNNER takes you on a dark journey into the life of Chika, a low level dealer trying to get ahead in the murky, violent, sometimes banal, and often disturbingly funny world of the Kings Cross drug subculture. RUNNER is one of the first Australian films to adopt the stripped back and fiercely authentic principles of Dogma, and infuse them with the frenetic, guerrilla principles of reality TV and unflinching documentary film making.

RUNNER is a new type of film for the Australian market - think 'Trainspotting' meets 'Irreversible' - but its break neck pace and sharp style make it engrossing. Like porn or a bloody car wreck it will compel audiences to watch.

Firing into cinemas in 2008 like a hit to a pumped vein, be ready for RUNNER.
